Toddler Dies In Farming Accident in Dorrigo

From: The Daily Telegraph November 04, 2010 9:54AM POLICE are examining the circumstances surrounding the death of a toddler on a property near Dorrigo, on the New South Wales’s North Coast, following reports the three-year-old had been in an accident involving a hay bailer. NSW Ambulance paramedics attended a farm on Shepherds Road, Dorrigo, yesterday afternoon after receiving reports the boy had been badly hurt in an accident involving a hay bailer. Police from Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command were called in about 2.45pm after the boy was unable to be revived. A crime scene was secured and examined by forensics experts. Inquiries by local detectives into the circumstances surrounding the toddler’s death are continuing. A brief of evidence will be prepared for the information of the NSW Coroner.
