Three Dead When Car Crashes Into NJ School

Updated at 09:25 AM today Eyewitness News PINE BEACH (WABC) — Three people died after a car slammed into an elementary school in New Jersey Thursday. The car was found crashed into Pine Beach Elementary School on Pennsylvania Avenue when workers arrived at 6 a.m. The school was not open and no students were present. Three bodies were found in the car. Authorities have not released the identities of the victims. Deputy Chief Michael Mike Mohel says the impact left a hole in school. Investigators are trying to determine how the crash occurred. The school will have a 90-minute delayed opening because of the crash. (Copyright ©2011 WABC-TV/DT. All Rights Reserved.)
