By: Donna Harris GULFPORT — Four students were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries Tuesday following an accident involving a bus from North Gulfport 7th and 8th Grade School, police said. Two children were taken to Garden Park Medical Center by AMR Ambulance, and two others were brought to the hospital by their parents, Deputy Commander George Chaix said. The accident happened around 3:40 p.m. at Three Rivers and Klein roads and involved two cars and the bus. There were about 35 students on the bus when the accident happened, Harrison County Schools Superintendent Henry Arledge said. The accident remains under investigation by Gulfport police.
